Data Collection

Cookie DevTools does not collect, transmit, or share any user data. All data stays on your device.

cookies: Required to read, create, edit, and delete browser cookies (the core functionality).
storage: Used to save your preferences, cookie profiles, and change log locally on your device.
activeTab / tabs: Used to detect the current tab's URL so we can show cookies for the site you're viewing.
host_permissions (<all_urls>): Required by the chrome.cookies API to access cookies across all domains.

Cookie profiles and change logs are stored locally using chrome.storage.local.
No data is sent to any server or third party.

If this privacy policy changes, the updated policy will be posted here and the "last updated" date will be revised.
